This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies rupgo.com uses in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services (LSSI-CE), following the Cookie Guide published by the AEPD (Spanish Data Protection Agency).
01What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser when you visit it. It is used to remember information about your visit (language, logged-in session, preferences) or to collect usage data in aggregate form.
Some cookies are essential for the site to work (for example, keeping the session logged in). Others are optional and only installed if you give your express consent through the cookie banner.
02Types of cookies we use
2.1 Technical or necessary cookies
Essential for the provision of the service. They do not require consent (art. 22.2 LSSI-CE). They are used to keep the session logged in, remember your cookie choice, ensure security and protect the site from attacks.
2.2 Analytics cookies
They allow measuring and analyzing the use of the site (pages visited, time spent, devices, traffic sources) to improve content and experience. They are only loaded if you give consent.
2.3 Affiliate cookies
If you arrive at the site via an affiliate link (parameter ?ref= in the URL), we store the code in a cookie for 30 days to correctly attribute the sale if you make a purchase. Only loaded if you give consent.

04How to manage your preferences
The first time you visit the site, a cookie banner appears that allows you to:
- Accept all — all cookies are loaded, including analytics and affiliates.
- Reject all — only strictly necessary cookies are loaded.
- Customize — you can enable or disable each category separately.
Your decision is saved for 12 months. You can change it at any time from the “Preferences” link in the footer or by clicking below:
05Browser-level configuration
Regardless of the banner, you can configure your browser to block or delete cookies at any time. These are the official instructions for the most common browsers:
Note that blocking all cookies may prevent certain site features from working correctly, such as keeping your session logged in to the student dashboard.
06Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if we add or remove cookies from the site. The “Last updated” date indicates the current version. If the changes affect cookies that require consent, we will show the banner again so you can renew your decision.
